Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd,Established in 1950 at village Sidhwan Khurd, 30 km away from Ludhiana in lush green rural background, aptly hailed as the “Shantiniketan” of Punjab, Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd (Ludhiana) is a living testimony to the generosity of legendary donors Bhai Sahib Bhai Narain Singh and his wife Bebe Ram Kaur and later their daughter Bibi Harparkash Kaur, Padam Shree Awardee and daughter-in-law Bibi Attar Kaur.
It is one of the five educational institutions run by Shri Guru Hargobind Ujjagar Hari Trust. The philanthropic spirit of the founders saw the trust develop from a fledging one into a fully grown organization, which today boasts of Five Educational Institutions holding aloft the lamp of knowledge by our Honorable Sri Guru Hargobind Ujjagar Hari Trust.
The torch bearers today who are carrying forward the old traditions and guiding us to the right path are S. Birindar Singh Sidhu, IPS (President), S. Amarjeet Singh (Secretary), S. Pardeep Singh (Manager), S. Kirpal Singh Bhathal Retd. Chief Engineer (Sr. Member), S. Pritam Singh Johal, Retd. ADC, (Sr. Member), S. Harmail Singh Sidhu (Member) and S. Devinder Singh Mann, Chairman and Founder of Doon International Chain of Schools (Member).
Currently the institution is attaining new heights under the dynamic stewardship of Dr. Rajwinder Kaur Hundal. The college is spread over 18.75 acres of land.
